I haven't been keeping up with my Behind the Scenes blog b/c it is a pain in the ass. I plan to post some photos up with brief comments and stories before the end of the year!
Still haven't printed out my portfolio ...hopefully this weekend!
My goal this year is to network network network!
Future Submissions
I'm trying get in those commercial shots so that I can have a commercial portfolio but I can't help it! I'm an artistic inside and I have a need to express myself.
Expect some more deep moody photos soon...as well as newer models!
I was to go back to some of those ghostly images again...I thought those were fun! And don't require a team of people which is always nice! Just me and the model...no hassles!
Showin' the Love!
Thank you everyone sooo much for watching, commenting, critiquing, and being the best fucking fans ever!
You guys help me to persevere!
Hope you're all alive and well through this economic crisis and whatnot...
A good majority of my photos (bonus shit & behind the scenes) are on my flikr...take a look!

Thanks so much for the response. I haven't been able to shoot with my camera for a month and half now so I haven't really been able to practice the way I want to. I've been using a friend's camera but obviously it's not the same and it can be difficult.
I've gotten a lot of similar comments about changing models and working with more experienced models.
I'm getting my camera this Friday and I plan on working on developing my style, getting better with technique and working with agency represented models or just more experienced models.
I understand where you're coming from with the make up comment. I sometimes get carried away with those little details and eventually it becomes too much. I'd like to keep doing concepts where the make up is a lot but for the next shoots I'm going to take it easy with make up and hair.
Thanks so much for the input and we'll see what happens soon!
Hello, I read your journal about wanting to get into magazines. I think that you have good ideas. I agree about the lighting being a tad off though in "sun" it is absolutely beautiful. My advice has a lot to do with your models. What I think you need are more fluid poses and models with more natural facial expressions (Jenny's are very good). I would also suggest putting less makeup on them. I find it really distracts from what could be some beautiful shots. I do like your work alot and hope I am helping and not making you cry (that is not my intention). Good luck to you. You'll get there someday soon.
